From the campsite, you can enjoy the heritage of the town of Saint Jean d'Angély by walking to the heart of the town and its monuments. A tour of the town will take you from the Middle Ages to the Art Deco period, passing through the Renaissance with its Royal Abbey, its Place du Pilori (one star in the Michelin guide), the Grosse Horloge tower, its half-timbered houses, its museum (history of the African epic of Citroën and its caterpillar car). You can explore the Vals de Saintonge and visit Saintes, Cognac, Rochefort, Ile de Ré, Ile d'Oléron, La Rochelle and Royan, as well as the Marais Poitevin to discover the charms of the blue and green Charente Maritime.

Ideal for a rejuvenating holiday for couples, families or friends. Very quiet campsite. Our campsite is traditional, with pure camping values, tents, caravans and motorhomes! Friendliness is its motto. No entertainment except aqua-gym and themed meals in July and August. Snack bar open in the evening with a simple and varied menu, takeaway service available. Aquagym classes in July and August.

You can discover the town via the Boutonne with a canoe trip, the campsite is located on the banks of the river and its lake overlooking its leisure centre, with pedalos, kayaks, canoes, paddles, fitness trail, water park, mini-golf, children's games and restaurant guinguette. The campsite hires out bicycles and offers a number of routes, including the "Boutonne banks" cycle route, which passes right by the campsite and is accessible even to beginners.

You can also take advantage of Saint Jean d'Angély's cultural attractions, with its new cinema and three screens, as well as the magnificent Eden theatre.
